Dirty Hinoki

Dirty Hinoki opens with bright thyme and lemon cutting through warm nutmeg and resinous pine, a green-herbal bite that feels almost medicinal. Cedar enters early, grounding the top's sharpness. As it settles, cypress and hinoki wood emerge—that distinctive Japanese wood bringing a slightly smoky, almost earthy warmth. The base unfolds with wormwood's bitter earthiness, olibanum's incense, and fir's cool woodsmoke, anchored by the soft animalic sweetness of ambrettolide. What emerges is something raw and naturalistic: less about perfume beauty and more about the scent of forest floor and weathered timber, where green resin meets aged wood and smoke.
