Guess Original opens with bright citrus—lemon and grapefruit snap against dark cassis and creamy ylang-ylang, immediately warm and indulgent. The heart unfolds into intoxicating florals: orange flower and jasmine intertwine with spicy cinnamon and the delicate, almost green coolness of lily-of-the-valley and hyacinth, creating an opulent yet airy middle. As these fade, amber and labdanum emerge, grounding everything in honeyed depth while sandalwood and patchouli add earthy texture. Iris and orris root lend powdery sophistication, and vanilla with benzoin carry a soft resinous warmth into the drydown, where dry oak moss and amber settle into a creamy, slightly spiced close.
