Description
The story behind this fragrance
Nutmeg and bergamot spark first—warm, almost peppery brightness—before tobacco smoke and neroli soften the opening into something earthier. The heart settles into vetiver's dry, grassy spine, anchored by carnation's spice and sandalwood's creamy undertone. Pepper and sage sharpen the mid-development, keeping it restless. As it dries, oakmoss and leather emerge from beneath, myrrh adding a resinous depth, while vetiver by Guerlain deepens into the base where amber and tonka bean build a subtle sweetness against that persistent, rooted vetiver, finally settling into dry leather and a whisper of civet on skin.
