Coque d'Or (2014)
Description
The story behind this fragrance
Coque d'Or opens with a bright burst of aldehydes that catch light like polished brass, cut through with bergamot and anise's licorice snap, lavender threading cool and herbal beneath. As it settles, carnation's spiced pepper emerges alongside jasmine and cyclamen's peppery sweetness, while vetiver grounds everything in dry grass and green earth. Civet adds animalic warmth to the heart, joined by tolu balsam's subtle caramel tone and patchouli's soil-dark richness. The drydown is soft: moss and vanilla meld into a creamy, slightly earthy finish, civet's musk lingering warm against skin.
