Top notes are Lavender, Honey, Cyclamen and Basil; middle notes are Patchouli, Frankincense, Leather, Angelica, Jasmine, Vetiver, Orchid and Lily; base notes are Moss, Vanilla and Amber. Atuana is one of Jacques Guerlain's latest fragrances. According to a popular version, the perfumer created it in honor of his favorite artist Paul Gauguin, who died in the town of Atuona on the island of Hiva Oa (Marquesas Islands).
