Tara Mantra opens with the sharp, almost fermented bite of asafoetida—a jolt of sulfurous spice—softened immediately by warm cardamom and the papery dust of saffron. The middle settles into earthy caraway and dark patchouli, grounding the initial heat into something more shadowed and introspective. As it dries, jasmine surfaces with an unexpected tenderness, threading through creamy agarwood and the cool, slightly aquatic whisper of lotus, until only resinous oud and pale floral silk remain.
