The story behind this fragrance
Tabacco D'Harar by Giviemme is a Aromatic Spicy fragrance for women and men. Tabacco D'Harar was launched during the 1930's. Top notes are Lemon, Bergamot, Cinnamon, Cumin, Lavender and Carnation; middle notes are Rose, Jasmine and Cloves; base notes are Coumarin, Leather, Tobacco, Cedar and Oakmoss. "Tabacco D'Harar was produced during the period of the 1930s through the 1970s, with recommendations for both women and men; its range includes perfume, powder, cologne, and aftershave lotion. The fragrance is named after the ancient Ethiopian city of Harar, the fourth most important city of Islam, and the center of the spice, tobacco, and coffee trades. The advertisement posters often contain a cigarette or a pipe — the flappers made smoking fashionable back in the 1920s, and the Tabacco D'Harar scent blends well with tobacco smoke. The fragrance with a dry woody leather drydown was called "warm, thin, and persistent" in advertising." -Fragrantica Article by Sergey Borisov.
