Ummagumma opens with a spiced floral snap—carnation's clove-tinged edge cutting through dark chocolate's bitter cocoa depth, saffron threading a honeyed warmth through the top. The heart shifts into leather's earthy warmth, tobacco's dry smoke folding against sandalwood's creamy grain, while labdanum adds a resinous sweetness that keeps the leather from becoming austere. Tonka bean emerges in the drydown, its vanilla-almond creaminess swelling beneath frankincense smoke and dry cedar, until only warm sandalwood and olibanum's incense linger at the skin.
