Frederic No.1 opens with the warm burn of Madagascar cloves and the bright citrus snap of Calabrian bergamot—sharp, almost peppery. Orange blossom and jasmine emerge softly in the heart, their creamy indolic sweetness tempering the spice, adding a whispered floral depth. As the composition settles, cedar and Brazilian rosewood anchor the skin with dry wood grain and a faint rosy warmth, the clove's initial heat fading into the grain.
