Caru

Caru by Fragrances of Ireland is a Chypre Fruity fragrance for women. Caru was launched in 2011. Top notes are Fruits and Green Accord; middle notes are Red Berries, Freesia and Iris; base notes are Woody Notes, Amber and Vanilla. CARU is an ancient Gaelic word meaning 'to love'. It has been specially chosen for this rich and heartwarming fragrance as it evokes passion and joy. When creating CARU our minds were filled with thoughts of the last days of summer; rich aromas of harvests and the last blooms of summer scenting the breeze. As Autumn takes hold there is a crispness to the air, a clarity to the light, we begin to wrap up. It is a wonderful feeling to be snug and warm. In essence that is the feeling we have tried to capture with CARU; a blend of summer and autumnal fruits, crisp green top notes warmed with rich florals of iris and freesia, a heart of red berries resting on bittersweet ambers, vanilla and fragrant woods to create this warm and wonderful feminine fragrance.
