Essence Oud

Oud smoke curls upward immediately—that dark, woody resin arriving in full force—before olibanum and caraway sharpen the opening into something almost peppery and incisive. Rose petals dust through the middle phases, their sweetness tempered by saffron's earthy spice and elemi's soft, piney brightness. As the composition settles, leather emerges warm and supple beneath a bed of labdanum's amber-like resin, which deepens into an almost vanillic sweetness. Essence Oud by Ferrari finally rests on skin as leather and resin intertwine, the opening's sharp greenness long faded to a creamy, woody amber.
