Macho by Faberge is a Oriental Fougere fragrance for men. Macho was launched in 1976. Top notes are Lavender, Clary Sage, Anise, Basil, Bergamot and Lemon; middle notes are Geranium, Carnation, Heliotrope, Rose, Fern, Cedar and Cinnamon; base notes are Musk, Moss, Tonka Bean, Amber and Vanilla. This perfume is the winner of award fifi award 1977 . "Fresh as a rain forest. Masculine as only you. Macho…Faberge’s new scent." Advertised in the 1970s as "the powerful scent for men" packaged in a "strartingly new futuristic look". In addition to the regular splash cologne concentration, the scent was also available in various points in musk oil, aftershave lotion, spray cologne, spray deodorant, and soap-on-a-rope. The scent of Macho was the FIFI Award winner for 1977.
