Maitre Céramiste

Maitre Céramiste opens with a green, peppery snap—galbanum and shiso leaf meeting pink pepper's bite, undercut by something cool and almost metallic, like touching wet clay. As it settles, earthy pimento and iris emerge alongside incense smoke, the clay deepening into tactile, almost grainy warmth. The base unfolds slowly: oakmoss and vetiver root the composition in soil and stone, while guaiac wood adds a smoky, resinous pulse. Amber and patchouli round the edges, mineral notes keeping everything grounded and austere—less fragrance, more the smell of a ceramicist's hands after work.
