Description

The story behind this fragrance

Eau Sauvage Cologne by Dior is a Citrus Aromatic fragrance for men. Eau Sauvage Cologne was launched in 2015. The nose behind this fragrance is François Demachy. Top notes are Calabrian bergamot, Grapefruit and Mandarin Orange; middle notes are Petitgrain, Hedione, Galbanum and Pink Pepper; base note is Vetiver. The classic fresh masculine fragrance by Dior—Eau Sauvage from 1966, was re-interpreted in a new format, as Eau Sauvage Cologne, in the spring of 2015. As for Eau Sauvage Parfum edition from 2012, vintage photographs and recordings of French actor Alain Delon were used for the advertising campaign of Eau Sauvage Cologne. The fresh citrusy-spicy and woody composition begins with accords of Calabrian bergamot, mandarin and bitter grapefruit. The heart notes include galbanum, petitgrain, hedione and pink pepper, while the base consists of woody tones of vetiver. Photos of advertising campaign originate from the movie "The Last Adventure" by Robert Enrico, filmed in 1967. The fragrance is available in bottles of 50 and 100 ml.
