Top notes are Bergamot, Lemon, Orange and Orange Blossom; middle notes are Carnation, Spices, Rose, Herbal Notes and Ylang-Ylang; base notes are Oakmoss, Civet, Musk, Patchouli, Ambergris, Orris, Labdanum, Sandalwood, Incense and Vanilla. A classic Chypre in the vintage-style of bygone years. This Nouveau Vintage fragrance takes inspiration from the legendary Chypres of the 1920s. This modern recreation contains over 60 individual essential oils, absolutes, extracts & tinctures. Chypre No.1 opens with a bright blast of candied citrus. Immediately spices & aromatic herbs begin to add warmth & complexity. Discreet floral notes of jasmine & rose absolutes swell to round out the composition and to create a truly unisex heart. The drydown reveals natural absolutes of Labdanum, Oakmoss, artisanal tinctures of Vanilla Bean & Tonka Bean, civet, deer musk & white ambergris.
