Imprevu opens with a bright, almost electric clash—aldehydes catch light like cut crystal, while bergamot and neroli leap forward in citrus brightness, grounded by coriander's warm spice and bitter orange's tangy edge. The heart softens into a powdery floral garden: carnation's clove-tinged sweetness, ylang-ylang's honeyed density, jasmine and rose blooming with orris's violet-tinged iris root. Below, woody depth anchors everything—vetiver and oak moss create a green, slightly earthy spine while leather adds a subtle animal warmth, sandalwood and patchouli deepen the base, and benzoin's vanilla-like resin mingles with ambergris's salty, animalic pull. Musk threads through the drydown, softening the wood and leather into a skin-close finish.
