Rusé

Rusé opens with a sharp green bite—narcissus and petitgrain cutting through bright citrus and bergamot like crushed stems and rain-wet grass. The heart blooms into a dense, powdery floral: lily-of-the-valley and lemon verbena float above creamy iris and jasmine, while geranium and hyacinth add a tart, almost peppery lift. As it settles, leather and oakmoss emerge from beneath, grounding the florals in earthy warmth, while vetiver and sandalwood anchor everything in something almost woody-animalic. Peru balsam and benzoin add a resinous sweetness that lingers, neither quite fresh nor fully gourmand—a graceful tension that defines the composition.
