Aouda opens with rose and chamomile's soft herbal sweetness, geranium lending a peppery green edge before the heart settles into creamy woody warmth—Virginia cedar and copahu balm creating a resinous, almost medicinal tenderness. Myrtle and amyris deepen the woody amber, while tolu balsam and agarwood ground the base in dark, smoky richness that feels grounded and intimate rather than loud. Patchouli threads through, earthy and subtle, making the whole thing feel like breathing in old cedar and vetiver after rain.
