Black Earth opens with a sharp snap of spice and bright grapefruit that cuts across resinous fir boughs. Rose emerges with a green, almost tart edge from rhubarb, while cedar lends a dry architectural frame. As the top settles, vetiver and patchouli take hold—earthy and grounded—then milk mousse softens into the base, adding a creamy, almost powdered warmth. Benzoin wraps it all in a honeyed, amber-tinged glow that sits close to skin, the spice memory fading to leave soft earth and sweet resin.
