Monsieur Carven opens bright and herbal—artemisia's green bite undercut by aldehydes' soapy shimmer and citrus snap of bergamot, neroli, lemon. The heart blooms dense: carnation's clove-tinged warmth mingles with vetiver's earthy pull, sandalwood creaming it all. Jasmine and rose add floral weight while cinnamon crackles through, patchouli grounding the sweetness of orris. As it settles, oakmoss darkens the base into leather and myrrh's resinous shadow, civet adding animalic depth, coconut and labdanum sweetening the drydown to a warm, creamy close.
