Description
The story behind this fragrance
Violette Précieuse by Caron is a Floral fragrance for women. Violette Précieuse was launched in 2018. The nose behind this fragrance is Ernest Daltroff. Top notes are Violet and Iris; middle notes are Lily-of-the-Valley and Musk; base notes are Sandalwood and Raspberry. Maison Caron, founded in 1904 by Ernest Daltroff, reissues all its emblematic perfumes (formerly available in the Fontaines collection) in the new line La Collection Privée, coming out in 2018 in an art-deco bottles. "Although it may appear simple, growing violets is in fact such a delicate process as to have long defied horticulturalists and botanists around the world. In 1913, Ernest Daltroff decided to capture the fragile scent of this elusive flower, the symbol of secret love. For him, the flower was the image of his muse, Félicie, who under her outwardly strong character was actually a sensitive and delicate soul. The note of fresh, powdery violet, supported by iris, was rounded out with delicate and delicious raspberry." Violet Flowers, Iris Musk, Lily of the Valley Sandal Wood, Rapsberry Available as a 300 ml Parfum and a 100 ml Eau de Parfum.
