Elysium

Elysium opens with a green, herbaceous brightness—thyme and galbanum sharp against citrus zest, artemisia adding an almost medicinal edge before lime and bergamot lift the top into something crisp and luminous. The heart settles into a cooler, more complex space: juniper and vetiver anchor the florals (jasmine, rose, lily-of-the-valley drift like distant air), while pink pepper and black currant add a slight tartness that keeps everything from turning sweet. Cedar and nagarmotha ground the middle with earthy warmth. As it dries, amber and leather emerge, softened by benzoin and vanilla—the herbal snap fades to a creamy, slightly smoky amber base where leather takes on a subtle suede quality.
