Imperial opens with crisp birch and lavender, sharpened by angelica's green bite and Brazilian rosewood's warm woodiness. A floral heart of jasmine, rose, and freesia softens the edges, geranium adding herbaceous complexity. The base unfolds gradually—leather and olibanum rise first, earthy and smoky, before amber and musk anchor everything in warmth. Sandalwood, oud, and guaiac wood layer in mineral depth, while patchouli and cypriol oil ground the composition with dry, almost earthy sweetness, leaving resinous labdanum and creamy sandalwood to linger on skin.
