Top notes are Green Notes, Cloves and Bergamot; middle notes are Rose, Damask Rose and Geranium; base notes are Jasmine, Amyl Salicylate and Musk. Goya Black Rose was originally launched by the founder of Goya, Douglas Collins, in the 1950s. After extensive research, which turned up the original formula at the Amersham Museum, and in consultation of Christopher Collins (son of founder Douglas Collins and heir of the Goya brand) and the suppliers of the original formula's oils, Goya Black Rose was re-launched by Beauty Brand Development in 2014.
