Rayon Vert opens with a sharp green bite—basil and anise snapping against cool neroli, darkened by cassis's tart undertone. The heart softens into warmer spice, caraway and fennel releasing their seed-like warmth while chamomile adds a whisper of hay and cloth. Base notes settle into dry, woody earth: sandalwood and cedar ground the composition, with immortelle threading honey and vanilla through the drydown until only resinous wood and a faint amber sweetness remain on skin.
