Carnation and bergamot open with a bright, spiced green snap before Dark Rose deepens into the heart—Damask rose petals layered with resinous oud and warm saffron threads that dust the florals with earthy heat. The rose never turns sweet; instead it grows shadowed and woody as oud anchors the composition. Praline enters the base with a honeyed roundness, softening without saccharine, while oud persists and Peru balsam adds a creeping warmth—vanilla undertones, amber-like but dry. The drydown settles into honeyed wood and a faint spice residue on skin.
