Nanban opens with sharp black pepper and bitter tea leaf, saffron threading through with honeyed warmth. As it settles, leather and osmanthus emerge—florid, slightly fruity—anchored by coffee's dark earthiness and myrrh's resinous depth. The base unfolds slowly: styrax and sandalwood create a creamy, almost vanilla-tinged foundation, while juniper berries add dry herbal snap and olibanum's incense rises beneath, finishing with copaiba balm's subtle sweetness and woody grip.
