Top notes are Cardamom, Bitter Orange and Plum; middle notes are Ylang-Ylang, Tuberose, Jasmine, Rose and Lily-of-the-Valley; base notes are Incense, Papyrus, Guaiac Wood, Tonka Bean, Sandalwood, Vetyver and Virginia Cedar. The Library Collection is essentially a poetic homage to the art of living. The composition of Opus I fragrance is characterized as a chypre, created by the perfumer Daniel Maurel. It opens with Bigarade notes, plum and cardamom, while flowering heart wakes all our senses with rose, jasmine, tuberose, ylang-ylang and lily of the valley. The base adds elegant rich shades of papyrus, cedar, giauac wood, incense, tonka, sandalwood and vetiver.
