Sichuan pepper arrives in a bright, prickling wave, crackling against creamy gardenia and threads of saffron's dusty warmth. The heart swells into a lush, almost suffocating bloom—tuberose and jasmine layered with honeyed cassia, orange blossom's neroli-like brightness, and ylang-ylang's heady curve. As the florals settle, orris adds a faint iris-like powder, while patchouli grounds the sweetness with earthy depth. Incense and papyrus emerge in the drydown, lending a dry, papery texture that cools the remaining tuberose into something more restrained, finally leaving soft iris root and smoky incense on skin.
