Istanbul's Soul opens with a sharp pepper bite and geranium's green bite, caught in rising incense smoke—immediately peppery, almost austere. Patchouli and cedar emerge in the heart, earthy and woody, grounded by cypriol oil's creamy, almost medicinal depth. The base unfolds slowly: amber and benzoin warm the skin, tonka bean adds a soft vanilla sweetness, and sandalwood melds with guaiac wood's resinous, slightly smoky character. The drydown settles into a haze of amber and warm cedar, with traces of sandalwood lingering as the incense fades to memory.
