Harvest Mouse opens with a bright citrus clarity—bergamot and orange blossom sharp enough to cut through morning frost, clove adding a peppery snap, chamomile softening the edges into something almost herbal. The heart settles into warm hay and rose oil, then darkens with opoponax and davana's honeyed, almost fermented sweetness, while a subtle beer-like earthiness grounds the floral lift. Base notes emerge slowly: oakmoss and cedar create a woody spine, sandalwood and peru balsam wrap around it in amber-tinged warmth, and balsam fir needles whisper beneath vanilla's creamy finish, leaving the impression of a creature nestled in dried grasses at dusk.
