Oud Bete Noire

Oud Bete Noire is agarwood unadorned—three layers of the same resinous wood, each deepening into the last. It opens with a warm, slightly bitter smoke, dense and immediate, then settles into a creamy, almost leather-like sweetness as the agarwood softens. By the base, it becomes almost animalic, earthy beneath its own richness, a single note allowed to breathe and reveal its full texture: simultaneously sharp and sensual, obstinate and hypnotic.
