I Am King opens with bright citrus—orange and tangerine trade places with tart cranberry, crisp and almost piercing. The heart shifts into something more aquatic and herbal, a saline cassis that feels like standing near salt water. As it settles, oakmoss and vetiver anchor the skin with earthy weight, while Amalfi lemon surfaces again, softer now, alongside warm sandalwood and cedar. French labdanum adds a resinous sweetness that keeps the whole thing grounded and slightly honeyed, never letting the green fade entirely.
