Oud Assam

Oud Assam opens with bright citrus—bergamot and sweet orange tumbling forward before bitter orange adds an astringent edge. The Indian oud arrives next, dark and resinous, grounding the brightness into something earthier and more austere. Vetiver and cedar anchor the base while tonka bean whispers sweetness underneath, olibanum adds incense-like depth, black pepper pricks the skin, and musk wraps everything in a faint animalic warmth. The finish settles into dry wood, vetiver's mineral cool, and the ghost of tonka lingering at the edges.
