Arancia Di Sicilia by Perris Monte Carlo is a Citrus Gourmand fragrance for women and men. Arancia Di Sicilia was launched in 2019. Top notes are Sicilian Orange and Citruses; middle notes are Vanilla, Almond and Cinnamon; base notes are Musk, Coffee and Amber. "Our journey discovering the most exceptional fragrant jewels of Italy continues with the most iconic citrus from Sicily: the Orange Sanguinella.  In perfumery the essential oil from bitter oranges carries greater value than that of more common sweeter varieties. The Sanguinella Orange is the exception to the rule due to its exceptionally high quality. Cultivated on the slopes of Mount Etna, the fruit grown here stands out due to its intense red colour and complex, aromatic sweetness, it also produces an exceptional oil which deserves to be considered outstanding. Since 1880 Capua, a family run company has been acknowledged as the ultimate producer of citrus essential oils. Here, using two methods of extraction Capua bring to life the pure essence of this sweet orange. Firstly, the brown coloured essential oil is extracted from the rind without coming into contact with the fruit’s juice which will be used for drinks. The second extraction method takes place when the growing season draws to a close. The complete fruit is passed through a press, blending oil from its peel together with the juice. Then a sfumatorchio extractor is used to separate the juice from the slurry and finally centrifuge separates the oil from the juice. After this complex and skilful process these two very different essential oils are blended together in our new Perris Monte Carlo Arancia Di Sicilia masterpiece, a tribute to the fruit symbol of Sicily. Extraordinary fruit created the inspiration to bring Arancia Di Sicilia to life, a fragrance which fuses the energy and naturalness of citrus with an enveloping sweetness. The scent’s heart is enhanced with almond, vanilla and cinnamon, followed by base notes revealing soft musk and amber then finally the intense aroma of absolute of coffee.
