The story behind this fragrance
Maestrale by Paolo Gigli is a fragrance for women. Maestrale was launched in 2008. Top notes are Mandarin Orange, Bergamot, Lemon, White Flowers, Jasmine and White Rose; middle notes are Lavender, Clary Sage, Labdanum and Basil; base notes are Ambergris, Cedar, Vetiver, Vanilla and Sandalwood. Four new fragrances from Italian brand G by Paolo Gigli were introduced in spring 2008. They have captured the magic inside their luxurious and unique bottles with 24 karat gold details. In making of these bottles, a special technology in glass manufacturing (3-fire-tech) had been applied and it took few days to finish each bottle. Winds that blow in different directions and carry magic, aromas and scents of various regions, inspired designers in their creation of this collection: Libeccio, Grecale, Schirocco and Maestrale bring new aromas in spring of 2008. Maestrale blows north – west on Mediterranean, inspiring the creators to give the perfume notes of bergamot and lavender at the top, harmonized with the heart of rose, geranium and balsamic notes. The base includes patchouli, white moss, sandalwood and cedar.
