Ayour opens with a sharp, almost metallic brightness—aldehydes cutting through tart pomegranate and the green-skinned earthiness of black fig, an unexpected tartness that feels almost mineral. Virginia cedar and elemi arrive next, softening into woody warmth before agarwood settles deep, smoky and resinous, anchored by incense that lingers like smoke caught in fabric. The whole arc feels architectural—austere at first, then enveloping, finally introspective.
