The story behind this fragrance
Fleur d'Oranger by Le Couvent Maison de Parfum is a Floral fragrance for women. Fleur d'Oranger was launched in 2009. Top notes are Mandarin Orange, Orange, Fruity Notes and Raspberry; middle notes are African Orange Flower, Petitgrain and Jasmine; base notes are Vanilla, Musk and Woodsy Notes. The latest fragrance of the line Le Couvent des Minimes was presented in May 2009 and it was named Fleur d'Oranger – orange blossom, which wraps the skin in a very luminous and gourmand way. Orange blossom oil has been used in many monasteries, as balm or medicine to soften the skin and improve the mood, since the 14th century. According to an old tradition of Sisters missionaries from Morocco, who visited the monastery, formulas were made which are still used to create the highest quality essential oils in the monastery. This recipe is used in making the new fragrance of the house. Delicate aromas of essential oils of orange blossom offer spring on a palm, together with a Mediterranean embrace of blossoming orange tree, which evokes scents of childhood, happiness, airiness, excitement… Fleur d'Oranger opens with a citrusy-fruity wave of mandarin, raspberry, orange and sparkling fruit. A heart features orange blossom, jasmine, petit grain, resting on a gourmand and warm base of vanilla, precious wood and musk. The fragrance is available as 50 ml (1.7 oz) EDT, as a limited edition. Two accompanying products are also available: 250ml Gentle Shower Gel and 250ml Corps Douceur.
