Sacreste opens with cardamom's sharp warmth and labdanum's honeyed grip, elemi resin lending a whisper of green clarity before saffron threads through—spicy, almost medicinal. The heart deepens into black pepper's bite tempered by cypriol's earthy, almost animalic roughness, while resins and incense smoke settle into the skin like temple air. Virginia cedar and guaiac wood anchor the base with dry, resinous weight; amber and musk create a second skin, warm and faintly animalic, fading into cashmeran's soft, powdered woody hum. Ritualistic and grounded.
