Description
The story behind this fragrance
Chloé (Parfums Lagerfeld) by Karl Lagerfeld is a Floral fragrance for women. Chloé (Parfums Lagerfeld) was launched in 1975. The nose behind this fragrance is Betty Busse. The fragrance features Tuberose, Aldehydes, Peach, Honeysuckle, Narcissus, Hyacinth, Lilac, Oakmoss, Carnation, Benzoin, Ylang-Ylang, Musk, Amber, Jasmine, Orris, Coconut, Orange Blossom, Sandalwood, Rose, Cedar and Bergamot. This is a feminine and romantic perfume with an intensive floral aroma; the fragrance with character, like so many of the “old” fragrances. Karl Lagerfeld launched Chloe in 1975. Mixture of honeysuckle, orange blossom, ylang-ylang, hyacinth, lilac, coconut, bergamot, aldehydes and juicy peach is at the top notes. The heart ticks in the rhythm of elegant jasmine, rose, narcissus, tuberose and carnation along with the orris root, and the base adds up with oakmoss, sandalwood, amber, musk, cedar and benzoin. The creator of this perfume is IFF. This page is for the original 1975 fragrance labeled Parfums Lagerfeld. For the newer, modern formulation that solely reads Parfums Chloé (the packaging and formula are largely the same but the Lagerfeld name is omitted), please see the entry under the brand Chloé.
