Milky Dragon

Milky Dragon by Isabelle Larignon is a Woody Aromatic fragrance for women and men. Milky Dragon was launched in 2022. The nose behind this fragrance is Isabelle Larignon. Top notes are Buchu or Agathosma, Cardamom and Bergamot; middle notes are Lactones, Butter, Ionones, Damascone and Jasmone; base notes are Cashmeran, Oakmoss, Virginia Cedar and Balsam Fir. The memory of a tea garden in the mist of the dawning day comes back to me. Although very much discussed in perfumery, Tea inspired me and more particularly Milky Oolong, a semi-oxidized blue tea appreciate for its natural buttery, gourmet and woody aromas like a praline hazelnut. An opportunity to work on the gourmet facet by discarding the vanilla or sticky notes of caramel and cotton candy and going towards the coumarin and lactone notes very appropriate to approach this Oolong. The challenge: to express both the gourmet dry leaf of the tea and the more floral wet leaf which, as the infusions progress, develops increasin- gly fruity notes; and at the same time, portray the vision of this garden of very green tea trees, with leaves as deep as fine, shiny leather.
