1921 by Gucci is a Chypre Floral fragrance for women and men. 1921 was launched in 2021. The nose behind this fragrance is Alberto Morillas. Top note is Citron; middle notes are Neroli and Lemon Verbena; base note is Oakmoss. Gucci is celebrating its 100th birthday by launching the new 1921 perfume from The Alchemist’s Garden collection. Its green, citrusy and chypre composition is based on note of neroli, appreciated for its floral and sweet notes a fizzy green edge, combined with limone cedrato fruit fruit from Florence, verbena and earthy, lush forest-like moss. The new fragrance was shot in a special campaign by Colin Dodgson, creatively directed by Alessandro Michele, and artistically directed by Christopher Simmonds. The ad shows the bottle of perfume surrounded by lush leaves, herbs and antiques, in addition to sscientific flasks and garden tools that suggest continuous experimentation.
