Star anise and mandarin crack open with anise-bright licorice, then cinnamon and tobacco smoke settle in—warm, slightly sweet, deeply spiced. Benzoin softens the edges as leather and cypriol emerge, earthy and resinous, anchoring tonka's creamy vanilla undertone. What lingers is dry leather and cypriol's woody mineral dust, sweet tonka melting beneath.
