Through the Forest opens with black pepper's sharp bite and elemi's green resin, saffron threading through with honeyed warmth. The spice deepens as tobacco leaf emerges—earthy, slightly sweet—layered beneath smoky incense that feels almost ceremonial. Sandalwood anchors the base, creamy and soft, while vanilla adds a whisper of comfort and oud brings the whole composition into shadow, dense and woody. A walk through dry brush and temple smoke.
