Assam by Clandestine Laboratories is a fragrance for women and men. Assam was launched in 2012. The nose behind this fragrance is Mark Sage. The fragrance features Cypriol Oil or Nagarmotha, Amber, Agarwood (Oud), Patchouli, Pepper, Aldehydes, Saffron, Sandalwood, Black Tea, Cabreuva, White Musk, Haitian Vetiver and Bergamot. An extremely limited release of a bergamot-oud fragrance. There’s a lot going on here but it fuses seamlessly into a smooth musky-peppery bergamot amber-oud with hints of black tea. Surprisingly clean for an oud fragrance and also extremely long-lasting for a citrus, with complex woody qualities throughout. Not your typical rose-oud thing nor your typical barnyard oud thing, this is in original take on oud that emphasizes its woody and ambery qualities. Notes include bergamot, soapy aldehydes, black tea, saffron, green peppercorn, cabreuva, cypriol, patchouli, amber, vetiver Haiti, oud Assam, sandalwood, white musks.
