Glamour by Bourjois is a powdery-floral fragrance for women, first released in 1953 and later discontinued. It opens with a classic aldehydic accord blended with citrus and soft fruity nuances, leading to a floral heart with herbal accents and a mossy, resinous base. The composition reflects mid-20th-century perfumery style, combining bright aldehydes, structured florals, and a traditional chypre-like drydown. The scent begins with aldehydes, orange, bergamot, lemon, neroli, gardenia, and peach. The heart combines wild herbs with carnation, ylang-ylang, narcissus, rose, and jasmine, giving the fragrance a layered floral character with a slightly spicy and green undertone. In the base, benzoin, oakmoss, musk, ambergris, styrax, and vetiver provide a warm, balsamic, and earthy foundation that supports the powdery-floral impression.
