Opus XIV – Royal Tobacco
Description
The story behind this fragrance
Opus XIV opens with frank incense and spiced herbs—olibanum and cardamom cutting through bright bergamot and licorice-tinged anise, braced by basil's green bite. The heart softens into floral warmth: lavender and rose nestle beside tobacco's leathery smoke, while orange blossom and osmanthus add honeyed texture. As it settles, oud and vetiver anchor the drydown, their woody density wrapped in vanilla's cream and labdanum's amber-resin sweetness, darkened by myrrh and birch tar's acrid mineral edge until only warm vetiver, tobacco smoke, and vanilla linger at the skin's edge.
