The House of Sauzé
Sauzé emerged across three decades of composition rooted in floral opulence, oriental warmth, and chypre's mossy, resinous spine. Six fragrances spanning 1920 to 1953 chart a house devoted to layered, hedonistic scent—florals rendered luminous and honeyed, orientals steeped in amber and vanilla depth, chypres grounded in earth and oakmoss. The interplay between brightness and shadow, sweetness and moss, defines Sauzé's sensibility: fragrances that bloom then anchor, never purely transparent, never purely dark.
