The House of Parah
Parah's four compositions across 2007–2010 favor woody and citrus frames, warmed by oriental undertones. The house oscillates between bright, sharp top notes and deep amber-resinous bases—citruses cut through woody skeletons, while floral-oriental silhouettes emerge in the dry-down. A restless sensibility, favoring clarity over lingering sweetness, yet never abandoning warmth. The work reads as studied contrasts: zesty brightness anchored in woody depth.
