The Heritage
The House of Marina Marinof
Marina Marinof spent its mid-aughts years rooted in soft florality anchored by wood—a restrained, naturalistic palette that favored bloom over baroque opulence. Across three compositions from 2001 to 2006, the house tilted toward understated elegance: petals grounded in cedar and vetiver, never climbing toward sweetness. The work reads as introspective, drawn inward toward the grain of timber and the whisper of green stems rather than the theatre of fragrance.
